The Nevada quarterbacks room continues to see off-season changes. The Wolf Pack both gained and lost a quarterback on Wednesday, with a junior college phenom moving in and a former local moving out. Nevada added Jacob Barlage to the roster; he'll join the team after a single season at the JC level. Barlage, 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, completed nearly 70 percent of his passes last season at Riverside (Calif.) College, throwing for 2,786 yards and 30 touchdowns (against just five interceptions). He will have three seasons of eligibility for the Pack and is immediately eligible this season.

Another quarterback, Kaiden Bennett, left the program and announced a transfer to Sacramento State. Bennett, a former Sparks resident, never played a down for the Wolf Pack. He was a Boise State transfer. Bennett, who will be enrolling in his third college in less than a year, still has all four years of his eligibility remaining. Sacramento State plays in the Big Sky at the FCS level, meaning Bennett will not have to sit out a transfer season. Bennett put up massive numbers at Folsom, finishing with nearly 9,000 yards passing in 44 career games. He completed just over 70 percent of his passes and wound up with 121 touchdowns to go against 18 interceptions. - Reno Gazette Journal
