  WEEK 2 SUN BELT FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Luke Hodge, Troy,(So., LB - Oneonta, Ala.),...Troy sophomore linebacker Luke Hodge was involved in the two momentum-shifting plays for Troy in a 27-16 loss at No. 8/8 Clemson. The Oneonta, Ala., product forced a fumble on a 4th-and-2 attempt deep in Trojan territory to set up a Troy field goal. Hodge also deflected a pass at the line of scrimmage that was intercepted and returned four yards for a pick six to give the Trojans a 16-0 lead. He finished with a career-high four tackles, as Troy held the Tigers to just 316 yards of total offense—the fewest by a non-autonomy opponent since 2010 (South Florida, 296 yards) and the fewest by a non-autonomy foe at home since 2001 (UCF, 292 yards). - Sun Belt football
