SEPT 23/WEEK 4 CONFERENCE USA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Old Dominion sophomore DE Keion White had six tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack for Old Dominion in the Monarchs' 28-17 loss at No. 21 Virginia. In just his third game playing defense (played tight end last year) and his first game at the bandit position, White registered a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss, the third most in a single-game in school history. The Garner, North Carolina native also blocked a field goal early in the fourth quarter that kept ODU's 17-14 lead at the time. With White leading the way, the Monarchs defense allowed the fewest total yards (244) against any ranked FBS opponent this week. - Conference USA Football
