Memphis sophomore defensive lineman Kamren Washington has re-entered the transfer portal four months after committing to the Tigers, a source confirmed to The Commercial Appeal. The source was granted anonymity since an announcement has yet to be made public. Washington is not listed on the Tigers' roster as of Friday. Washington is the second defensive lineman to transfer this week after senior Maurice White transferred on Monday. Washington was the reigning WAC Freshman of the Year last season at Sam Houston State after recording 13 tackles with a sack in 10 games. He committed to Memphis after spring practice on April 25, two weeks after entering the portal. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
