Purdue wide receiver Elijah Canion is a transfer receiver from Auburn who missed spring practice due to an injury. In the first two practices, Canion - who's listed at 6-foot-4 but plays much bigger - produced several big plays. He made a catch Wednesday in traffic near the sideline and kept both feet in. Impressive. And he kept making plays throughout the two-hour session. "He's a big kid," quarterback Austin Burton said. "He's got good, jumping athletic ability. Pretty interested to see how we use him. Just looking at him, he looks like an athletic freak out there." - Indianapolis Star-News
