  05/13/21 - DE Stone HandyrSr/2025, Charlotte

Former Auburn defensive lineman Jaren Handy has a new home, and it's in the Big Ten. The former four-star prospect, who entered the transfer portal at the end of April following the conclusion of spring practices, announced on Wednesday that he has committed to Indiana. Once a top-100 prospect coming out of Hattiesburg, Miss., in the 2019 class, Handy appeared in 14 games during his first two seasons at Auburn. He totaled just 10 tackles, including three for a loss and one sack, during that time while adding one pass breakup. Handy spent this spring at Auburn's newly listed edge defender spot in defensive coordinator Derek Mason's hybrid 3-4 scheme, though Mason said in March that the 6-foot-5, 252-pounder could also line up at defensive end and as a 4-technique, providing the Tigers with versatility along the defensive front. - Birmingham News
