N.C. State football loses a projected starter on defense as Kidd-Glass enters the transfer portal. N.C. State football lost a projected starter on defense, as safety Tim Kidd-Glass entered the transfer portal on Sunday. Kidd-Glass was projected to start in recently graduated Dexter Wright's spot in the secondary. Kidd-Glass played in all 13 games for the Wolfpack this season, posting 31 tackles and two pass break-ups. The Wolfpack will likely rely on converted-nickel corner Tanner Ingle to start at safety along with redshirt senior Jarius Morehead. Ingle started seven games and had 44 tackles as a true freshman last season and Morehead was second on the team in tackles with 81 and led the team in interceptions with three. - North State Journal
