  SEP 27 WALTER CAMP NATIONAL FBS OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: K.J. COSTELLO, MISSISSIPPI STATE, Graduate Senior, Quarterback, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA/Santa Margarita/Stanford,...K.J. Costello passed for a Southeastern Conference-record 623 yards as Mississippi State defeated sixth-ranked LSU, 44-34, on the road. Costello completed 36-of-60 passes and threw for five touchdowns. His 623 passing yards were the 11th-highest total in FBS history. Notes: K.J. Costello is the third Mississippi State player to win the award since 2004 (and the first offensive honoree), joining former Bulldogs Quinton Culberson (LB, Nov. 5, 2006) and Richie Brown (LB, Oct. 5, 2014). - The Walter Camp Football Foundation
