Michigan State just lost another returning starter due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic. Senior starting right tackle Jordan Reid announced via Twitter on Friday morning he is opting out of the 2020 season. That move comes the same day the Spartans started fall camp. Reid is the second member of the team to publicly opt out, following senior starting defensive end Jacub Panasiuk’s announcement on Wednesday. Reid said he will be graduating in December, plans on returning to Michigan State for his fifth year and noted he talked to head coach Mel Tucker and offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic about the decision. - Michigan Live
