Draft Scout College Football Player News

With scouts from the NFL and other professional football organizations on hand, Briar Cliff's Omar Dyles and Robert Robinson recently took place in a pro day held at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. The event was put on for area athletes preparing for their senior seasons on the gridiron. Both Chargers do damage on the defensive line as Dyles was a First Team All-GPAC selection as a sophomore before missing games due to injury during his junior campaign and Robinson became the Cliff's first ever All-American last year after breaking the school record in sacks with a season, finishing with 10.0. The Los Angeles native was also selected as a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award, honoring the best defensive players from small college programs across the country. At the pro day, the two Chargers along with 15 others from the region were measured up in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, body measurements and some written testing. Results were only shared with scouts as the group of athletes tested were sent private invitations to attend. - Briar Cliff Football
