  MARCH 15 SOUTHLAND SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ferlando Jordan, Southeastern Louisiana, Junior, Cornerback, Atlanta, Ga.,...The junior corner blocked a 22-yard Eddie Godina attempt on the final play of the first half to keep the Lions within seven going into the break. With the score knotted at 24-24 on NSU's final drive, Jordan blocked Godina's 40-yard potential game-winner and set up SLU's game-winning drive.   MARCH 8 SOUTHLAND DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ferlando Jordan, Southeastern Louisiana, Junior, Cornerback, Atlanta, Ga.,...With the game knotted at 3-3 in the opening period, Jordan picked off Cody Orgeron at the Lions' 10-yard line to halt the scoring drive. In the final quarter, Jordan forced Orgeron to cough up the ball just four yards from a potential go-ahead touchdown with just over two minutes to play.   NOV 11 SOUTHLAND DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ferlando Jordan, Southeastern Louisiana, R-So., Defensive Back, Atlanta, Ga.,...Jordan intercepted a pair of passes and led the team with four pass breakups in a dominating upset of Central Arkansas. His assignment was freshman standout Tyler Hudson, who entered the day with eight touchdown catches but finished with just one grab. Jordan shares the Southland lead with five interceptions and has returned three of his picks for touchdowns.
