One of several starters back on Oregon's offensive line, Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu is a virtual lock to remain the starter at right tackle. Aumavae-Laulu started 10 games on the right edge of the line last season, including the final nine, and six the year before. There will be a shake up behind him as Jaylan Jeffers transferring to UCLA opened a spot on the two-deep.

Faaope Laloulu, Michael Wooten, Dawson Jaramillo and potentially Steven Jones could all see time at right tackle as well The depth chart: Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu: 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, sixth-year redshirt-senior; Faaope Laloulu: 6-foot-6, 360 pounds, third-year sophomore; Michael Wooten: 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, freshman. Aumavae-Laulu has ample game experience, having played nearly 700 snaps last season, and was dominant in the run game at times. - The Oregonian

Oregon's offensive line will lose a second starter this offseason. Aumavae-Laulu has started nine games at right tackle for the Ducks this season and appeared in all 13 games. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Hawaiian came to Oregon from Navarro College in Jan. 2019. He played in two games at right guard while redshirting that fall, then started all six games in 2020 at right tackle before an injury in the Pac-12 Championship game against USC. Aumavae-Laulu is the first of Oregon's 10 players that are juniors in terms of eligibility, all of whom are automatically entered into this year's draft and have until Feb. 4 to opt-out, to announce his intention to remain in the draft. - The Oregonian

Three of Oregon's six players to miss spring practice due to injury are back to full strength with 10 days to go before fall camp. Running back Trey Benson (knee) and offensive linemen Jaylan Jeffers (left arm) and Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu (unspecified) are all back to 100%, according to Oregon coach Mario Cristobal. Benson, Jeffers and Aumavae-Laulu were all expected to return to action this summer.

Cristobal said tight end Cam McCormick, who has missed nearly three full seasons due to an ankle injury, has made "tremendous progress." Defensive tackle Jaylen Smith (unspecified) is doubtful for the start of camp, but Cristobal didn't rule out his availability beyond that. Running back Sean Dollars, who had eight carries for 47 yards last season and injured his leg during winter workouts, remains out indefinitely. Cristobal said the third-year freshman is looking at "mid-season to late season" for a potential return. - The Oregonian

Six Oregon players who were injured last season are back to full participation this spring, three others are on their way back and several others are going to miss spring practice. Running back CJ Verdell (left thumb), tight ends Spencer Webb and Patrick Herbert, outside linebackers Adrian Jackson Jr. and Jackson LaDuke and cornerback Dontae Manning are all "full speed," according to Mario Cristobal. Inside linebacker Justin Flowe (torn meniscus) has been limited but is expected to be a full participant in two weeks, offensive lineman Jaylan Jeffers (left arm) has also been limited and may be held out of spring due to precautionary reasons and tight end Cam McCormick is "progressing well" from an unspecified injury that kept him out of last season, Cristobal said. Offensive lineman Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu will miss spring practice due to the unspecified injury he suffered in the Pac-12 Championship game against USC. - The Oregonian
