OCT 7 NEC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: ERIC SILVESTER, WAGNER, P/PK, Jr., 5-11, 185 lbs., Lincolndale, NY/Somers,...WEEK 6 Stats: 2 points, 2-for-2 PAT, 10 punts, 36.7 punting avg., 5 Inside 20, 0 Touchbacks,...Silvester stifled Monmouth's return game under the lights on Grymes Hill. The do-it-all kicker, who scored two points on a pair of PATs, punted 10 times with five of the kicks giving Monmouth a drive start no better than the 10-yard line. Only one of the 10 punts was returnable, resulting in a one-yard loss coupled with a holding penalty that backed Monmouth up to its own 4-yard line.

Averaging 36.7 yards per punt on a brisk evening at usually-windy Hameline Field, Silvester successfully placed five punts inside the opponents' 20 with no touchbacks. He flipped the field with a 55-yard boot that was downed at Monmouth's 7-yard line with 00:09 remaining in the third quarter. Silvester also handled kickoff duties for the Seahawks, with Monmouth managing a total of 13 return yards on three kicks. On 13 kicks (10 punts, 3 KO), Monmouth totaled only 12 return yards. - NEC Football

2019 PRESEASON ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL TEAM (COACHES): P Eric Silvester, Wagner, Jr.,...Coming off a season that saw him average 39.4 yards per punt, which tied for second in the NEC, is junior kicker Eric Silvester. That 39.8-yard average was buoyed was buoyed by a career-long 68-yard launch at Bryant (11/10), which was preceded the previous week by a 62-yard missile vs. Duquesne (11/3). Silvester's powerful left leg also allowed Wagner to finish third in the NEC in net punting average at 38.8 yards per clip. For the season, the Lincolndale, NY native had 10 punts that traveled 50 yards or more, 18 punts downed inside the 20-yard line, while his hang time forced 10 fair catches on the year. - Wagner Football
