  Myles Burkett threw two touchdown passes to lead Eastern Kentucky to a 33-10 victory over Utah Tech in the season finale for both teams on Saturday. Utah State (2-10, 1-7 United Athletic Conference) opened the game with a seven-play 75-yard drive, scoring on Bronson Barben's 12-yard pass to Chris Street. Eastern Kentucky (5-7, 3-5) used 11 plays to cover 75 yards on its first possession, scoring on Burkett's 14-yard touchdown toss to Jayden West for a 7-all tie after one quarter. Burkett connected with Jakobie Hughes for an 18-yard score and the Colonels moved in front 14-7 early in the second period. Will Alovao forced a Burkett fumble at the end of a 12-yard run and Moe Passi recovered with 42 seconds left. The Trailblazers turned it into a 50-yard field goal by Ilya Uvaydov and trailed by four at halftime.

Brady Hensley had a 9-yard touchdown run with 4:47 left in the third quarter to up Eastern Kentucky's advantage to 21-10. Buzz Flabiano kicked a 31-yard field goal, Barben was sacked in the end zone for a safety and Jaheim Ward picked off Barben and returned it 37 yards for a touchdown - all in the final 2:50 to complete the scoring. Burkett completed 12 of 19 passes for 130 yards. Brayden Latham rushed 23 times for 113 of the Colonels' 264 yards on the ground.   Myles Burkett threw three touchdown passes to Marcus Calwise Jr. and Eastern Kentucky rolled past Central Arkansas 34-13 on Saturday night. The Colonels held the Bears to 280 yards and Central Arkansas managed just three points after the first quarter. Eastern Kentucky (4-5, 2/3 United Athletic Conference) led 21-13 at halftime and Burkett's 50-yard touchdown pass to Calwise made it 31-13 in the third quarter. They also connected on two 5-yard touchdowns in the first half and Burkett had a 4-yard touchdown run. Burkett passed for 209 yards and the Colonels also had 209 yards rushing. Calwise had 106 yards receiving. Landen Chambers had 116 yards rushing for Central Arkansas (3-6, 2-3) and scored the Bears' only touchdown on a 1-yard run in the first quarter.   Kaden Smith returned an interception for a touchdown and the go-ahead score, highlighting Eastern Kentucky's 27-7 victory over Nicholls on Saturday night. Nicholls scored first, on a 60-yard pass from Deuce Hogan to Miequle Brock Jr. on the third play of the game, but Nicholls didn't score again. Eastern Kentucky didn't allow a drive of more than 20 yards in the second half until the last possession by Nicholls. On that drive, Nicholls reached the 3-yard line before an interception by Vito Tisdale stopped the threat. Eastern Kentucky (2-3) tied it on a 68-yard run by Brady Hensley late in the second quarter and took a 14-7 lead on Smith's 16-yard interception return in the third quarter. Myles Burkett threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Dequan Stanley and Buzz Flabiano added two field goals for a 27-7 lead in the fourth quarter. Nicholls outgained Eastern Kentucky 330-314 in total yards but was only 1 for 11 on third down. Hensley ran for 148 yards and Brayden Latham added 88 yards among EKU's 242 yards on the ground.   Derek Taylor returned a fumble 67 yards for a touchdown and Eastern Kentucky went on to a 20-10 win over Houston Christian on Saturday night. Cameron Junior forced a fumble by tight end Mason Graham and Taylor scooped it up to score for a 10-3 lead in the first quarter. The fumble was one of four the Huskies (1-1), who outgained the Colonels (1-1) 248-177. Myles Burkett's 1-yard run early in the fourth quarter extended the Colonels' lead to 10 where it remained. Buzz Falabiano kicked a pair of field goals for Eastern Kentucky. Burkett threw for 83 yards with an interception. Houston Christian's Jake Weir was 21-of-44 passing for 204 yards and a 15-yard touchdown to Deuce McMillan. Tamarcus Gray Jr. made 10 catches for 80 yards.
