2022 ALL-MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE THIRD TEAM: Kickoff Return Specialist - De'Javion Stepney, Central Michigan,...Hailing from McComb, Mich., De'Javion Stepney earned All-MAC Third Team honors as a kickoff returner. Stepney did it all for Central Michigan in 2022 as he started 10 games at safety, returned kicks on special teams, and even played running back. He concluded the year with 40 tackles (25 solo) with eight pass breakups and one tackle for loss on defense, returned eight kicks for 214 yards (26.8 average) with a long of 60 yards on special teams, and rushed 11 times for five yards and a touchdown on offense.
