2019 AFCA NAIA COACHES' FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: DL James Jamicich, Sr., Saint Francis (Ind.),...Jamicich (Fort Wayne, IN/Carroll H.S.) helped USF to two NAIA FCS National Championships in 2016 and 2017 as well as four consecutive NAIA FCS berths. With 9 .5 sacks in 2019, Jamicich became the first USF player to lead or tie for the USF lead in sacks three consecutive seasons. He finished No. 4 in NAIA sacks in 2018 with 13. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound end is a two-time All-MSFA Mideast League first-team selec tion who tied the USF record for career sacks set by Stephen Whited at 27.5 (2006-09) with his strip sack in the fourth quarter at Lindsey Wilson. Jamicich is the 24th USF NAIA AFCA All-America in 22 seasons, the 20th different player selected. He joins Van Horn (2004) and Tim Farrell (2008) on the USF defensive end All-America list and is the ninth defensive player named from USF.
