2019 ASA. A. BUSHNELL CUP IVY LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Yale football senior quarterback Kurt Rawlings capped his Ivy League career in grand fashion as he was announced as the winner of the 2019 Asa. Rawlings, the only unanimous All-Ivy League offensive player of the year in 2019, becomes the 11th ever Bulldog to earn the prestigious honor and the third in the past eight years under head coach Tony Reno, joining Tyler Varga in 2014 and Matthew Oplinger in 2017. Rawlings is the first Yale quarterback to earn the award since Kelly Ryan in 1987.

It is Rawlings' second player of the year nod this season as he was previously recognized as the New England Football Player of the Year by the New England Football Writers with the Gold Helmet Award. He was also tabbed by STATS as a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, the FCS Offensive Player of the Year. "Kurt has an amazing career on the field, but his biggest accomplishment was what he left in the the ocker room and what he left as a legacy at Yale," said Reno. "He is a guy who put his teammates first and himself last every day." Rawlings, a three-time All-Ivy League selection and only unanimous offensive selection this season, set every passing and total offense record at Yale. - Yale Football
