Prunty finished second in the conference in interceptions with four. He made 32 tackles, including 23 unassisted. Prunty also had seven passes defended.   2022 SEC ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM: QB Robby Ashford, Auburn,...A redshirt freshman who won the starting job early in the season after transferring from Oregon, Ashford passed for 1,613 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022. Ashford ranks third among freshmen in program history in all passing categories and sixth among Auburn all-time freshman rushers. Only Bo Jackson (9) has rushed for more touchdowns than Ashford as an Auburn freshman.

Ashford threw for a season-high 337 yards and two touchdowns against LSU. He rushed for 108 yards and two scores vs. Mississippi State and concluded the season with 121 rushing yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns against Alabama, becoming the first Tiger since Carnell Williams to rush for two TDs in an Iron Bowl. "I knew I had to go out there and give my all and do whatever it took," Ashford said after the Iron Bowl. "Unfortunately it wasn't enough. This experience I'll always remember and cherish."   Although action doesn't officially start until Monday, among the reported quarterbacks in, or planning to be to enter the transfer portal as of Dec. 1 is Boise State's Hank Bachmeier: He was a three-year starter for the Broncos who decided in September this season to move on. He is most definitely not a dual-threat guy. Bachmeier finished his time at Boise with 6,605 passing yards and 41 TDs but also 19 interceptions from 2019-22. He battled through injuries and played behind an underperforming offensive line. His first pick ended the Bulldogs' two-minute offense at the end of the first half with A&T ahead, 14-3. Prunty's second interception came in the fourth quarter to help preserve the Aggies' 24-13 advantage.
