Vaughn's 2018 rushing total is the most by any returning SEC back.   2019 PRESEASON WALTER CAMP PLAYER OF YEAR PLAYERS TO WATCH: Jared Pinkney, TE, Senior, Vanderbilt,...Pinkney has racked up numerous honors leading to the Commodores' season opener against Georgia on Aug. 31. He has been named to watch lists for the Walter Camp, Biletnikoff and John Mackey awards, earned All-America recognition from The Sporting News, Street & Smith's and Phil Steele, and been included on virtually every All-SEC preseason team.

  2019 PRESEASON JOHN MACKEY AWARD WATCH LIST: Jared Pinkney, SR, Vanderbilt,...Pinkney, a three-year starter from Norcross, Georgia, is among eight players from the Southeastern Conference named to the Mackey watch list. The award, which honors NFL Hall of Fame member John Mackey, is presented annually to the nation's top tight end. Pinkney has racked up numerous preseason honors. Earlier this week, he was among four tight ends included on the Biletnikoff Award watch list, given to the nation's top receiver.

He has earned also earned preseason All-America recognition from Street & Smith's, The Sporting News and Phil Steele. Pinkney has been included in virtually every All-SEC preseason team. Pinkney ranks as the nation's leading returnees at tight end. His 774 receiving yards from a year ago is the most of any tight end returning for the 2019 season.   The Friends of John Mackey have released the 2019 John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List. Given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end, the award recipient is selected by vote of the John Mackey Award Selection Committee and the 2019 Mackey Award recipient will be announced on December 11, 2019 and then presented live on December 12, 2019 at The Home Depot College Football Awards Red Carpet Show on ESPNU.

NFL Hall of Fame member John Mackey is considered to be the best to have played the tight end position. A tight end by whom all others are measured, Mackey was a role model on and off the field as demonstrated by his Super Bowl Championship, his commitment to community and his place in history as the first President of the NFLPA. - John Mackey Award

  2019 PRESEASON BILETNIKOFF AWARD WATCH LIST: Kalija Lipscomb, Vanderbilt,...Lipscomb, who prepped at Jesuit (La.) High School, is coming off one of the best seasons ever by a Vanderbilt receiver. He registered an SEC-leading 87 receptions in 2018, amassing 916 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Lipscomb’s receptions total from a year ago is the fourth highest in team history.

Lipscomb, who also has been named as a preseason first team All-SEC recipient by four publications, enters his senior campaign among Vanderbilt’s all-time top-10 in several receiving categories.
