  Former Arizona State offensive lineman Ezra Dotson-Oyetade is officially out of the transfer portal after finding a new home. Dotson-Oyetade announced from his social media account that he has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs for the 2022 college football season. The former Sun Devil will head back to his home state of Texas to play for TCU, which is just under two hours away from where he grew up. Dotson-Oyetade is a high-caliber four-star recruit out of the 2021 recruiting class. The Garland, Texas, native, a small city just outside of Fort Worth, ranked in the top 300 of his class at No. 241. Ne was also the No. 16 ranked interior offensive lineman. - On3.com

The Mustangs also added a transfer commitment from Rice wide receiver Jake Bailey, who had 714 yards receiving a year ago. Former Texas wide receiver Joshua Moore committed to transfer to SMU, but hasn't enrolled and it's not a guarantee he does by the time fall starts. Knox (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) provides the SMU wide receiver room with an immediate speed element.   Sophomore running back Lincoln Pare will join old teammate Layne Hatcher at another Sun Belt school. Pare will be transferring to Texas State, the Memphis native announced on Twitter Sunday afternoon. Pare entered the portal less than a week prior to the announcement. He played in 12 games in 2021, picking up a team-high 455 yards on the ground (4.3 per carry). He had 738 total yards and 3 TDs, the third-highest mark on the team by a non-quarterback. That season followed a 2020 campaign that saw him averaging 6.2 yards a carry, gaining 450 yards and a score on the ground. - Kait8.com

  Texas State's All-Sun Belt defensive lineman Caeveon Patton signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts following the 2022 NFL Draft. The Bobcat, who was twice named All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention, was a three-year starter at defensive tackle and nose tackle in his five years in a Texas State uniform. In 44 career games, he logged 179 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and six quarterback hurries.   Memphis added more help on the defensive line as former Sam Houston State lineman Kamren Washington committed to the Tigers. Washington was the WAC Freshman of the Year last season after recording 13 tackles with a sack in 10 games. The 6-foot-2, 265 pound native from Mansfield, Texas entered the transfer portal on April 12 according to his Twitter feed. Washington took a visit to Memphis during the spring game Friday and also had offers from Charlotte, Texas State, Louisiana Tech and North Texas among others. "Soon as I got there, it was just a click with (defensive line) Coach (Kyle) Pope and (head coach Ryan) Silverfield," Washington told The Commercial Appeal. "They have a good team and I think I can come make an impact in the system and help them win a championship."   2021 WAC FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Kamren Washington, DL, Sam Houston,...Washington, a defensive lineman from Mansfield, Texas, held his own on the talented Bearkat defensive line, finishing the season with 13 tackles and a sack. His best game came on Oct. 9 against Lamar, making four tackles in a 41-7 win over the Cardinals.   TCU football has landed its first player from the NCAA transfer portal in the Sonny Dykes era. Former Texas linebacker Terrence Cooks II announced that he will be playing for TCU next season. Cooks had a number of schools interested in him, including Ole Miss. Cooks joins a program that is transitioning from a 4-2-5 defense under Gary Patterson to a 3-3-5 scheme under new defensive coordinator Joseph Gillespie. He is expected to join a linebacker corps that includes returners in Dee Winters, Jamoi Hodge, Wyatt Harris and Shadrach Banks. TCU's coaching staff views Cooks as a versatile linebacker who could play any spot. He is listed at 6-foot-2, 218 pounds and was a highly-rated prospect coming out of Pearland Shadow Creek.   Jahmyl Jeter scored an uncontested touchdown with 1:43 to play to secure a 27-19 win for Texas State over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday. The Bobcats were sitting on a 20-19 lead courtesy of a missed extra point and tried to ice the game on fourth-and-1 from the ULM 4. After making the stop the Warhawks got to the 40 before turning it over on downs. After allowing a first down, UNL let Jeter go 26 yards for the score with 1:43 to play. The Warhawks picked up one first down before turning it over downs for the third-straight possession. Tyler Vitt was 16 of 31 for 262 yards and a touchdown for Texas State (3-5, 2-3 Sun Belt Conference) in the homecoming win. Chandler Rogers was 28 of 43 for 262 yards for ULM, which had 170 rushing yards to 172 for Texas State. Although the total offense was close, Texas State had bigger plays. UNL held the ball for 16 more minutes and ran 98 plays to 64. Neither team had a turnover. - AP College Football

  Deion Hankins ran for two first-quarter touchdowns and Texas-El Paso earned its fourth-straight win, rolling past Louisiana Tech, 19-3 in a Conference USA battle on Saturday night. Gavin Hardison completed 19 of 29 passes for 283 yards and had one pass picked off. Jacob Cowing caught nine passes for 166 yards. The Miners (6-1, 3-0) picked off Louisiana Tech's Austin Kendall three times, held the Bulldogs to 92 yards rushing and tackled Marcus Williams Jr. for a 1-yard loss and a safety in the second quarter. Jacob Barnes connected on a 25-yard field goal for Louisiana Tech's only score with 6:56 to play in the first half. Kendall was 13 of 27 for 164 yards for the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-1). Gavin Baechle scored the only points of the second half on a 41-yard field goal with 38 seconds left in the third quarter.
