  2019 PRESEASON LOU GROZA AWARD WATCH LIST: Cameron Dicker, Texas,...Dicker, an Austin, Texas native, is a second-year kicker for the Longhorns who was second team All-Big 12 in 2018 and honorable mention as the league's Special Teams Player of the Year. He finished his freshman season 18-of-25 on field goal attempts, setting a UT record for the most-ever makes by a freshman in school history.

Dicker also handled kickoff duties for Texas, averaging 63.2 yards on 83 kickoffs with 52 of those resulting in touchbacks. Along with his Lou Groza recognition, Dicker has also been named a first team preseason All-Big 12 selection by Phil Steele and was selected to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team in 2019. - Texas Football

  2019 PRESEASON PAYCOM JIM THORPE AWARD WATCH LIST: Caden Sterns, Texas, So.,...Sterns, a native of Cibolo, Texas, is entering his second season with the Longhorns after an impressive freshman campaign in 2018. Last year, Sterns was a Thorpe Award semifinalist, a USA Today and FWAA Freshman All-America honoree, the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and a first team All-Big 12 selection. He started the first 13 games of the season to become the first Longhorn true freshman defensive back to start the first 13 games of his career since Blake Gideon in 2008.

Sterns racked up 62 total tackles (46 solo) with three tackles for loss, one sack and four pass breakups during his inaugural season on the Forty Acres. He also led the Longhorns with four interceptions in 2018 and blocked a field goal during Texas' 37-14 win over USC in September. One week later, he intercepted two passes against No. 17 TCU to become just the third Longhorn true freshman ever with two interceptions in a game. - Texas Football

  2019 PRESEASON BILETNIKOFF AWARD WATCH LIST: Collin Johnson, Texas,...Johnson, a native of San Jose, Calif., is a fourth-year wide receiver who has played in 38 games with 22 starts during his UT career. He enters his senior season with 150 receptions (ninth-most in school history) for 2,065 yards (ninth-most in school history) and 12 touchdowns. In 2018, Johnson played in 13 games and was second on the team with 68 catches for 985 yards and seven touchdowns.

He recorded seven receptions and racked up 124 receiving yards with a touchdown in the win over No. 17 TCU, and was later named The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week for his efforts against the Horned Frogs. Johnson also logged six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown in Texas' 48-45 win over No. 7 Oklahoma, 11 catches for 132 yards and a score in a triumph over Baylor and set a Big 12 Championship Game-record with 177 receiving yards on nine catches with a touchdown against the Sooners. - Texas Football

  The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award, has released the 2019 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the season’s outstanding FBS receiver in college football. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football’s outstanding receiver, not merely college football’s outstanding wide receiver.

The 2019 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on December 12, 2019, at the College Football Hall of Fame on The Home Depot College Football Awards presented by Gildan to be broadcast 7:00 – 9:00pm (EST) on ESPN. - Biletnikoff Award
