  2019 LONE STAR CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Amon Simon, Texas A&M-Commerce,...Simon (Humble - Atascocita) earned Offensive Lineman of the Year and First Team All-LSC honors at offensive tackle. This is the second consecutive year the redshirt junior has earned First Team All-LSC honors. He blocked for an offense that averaged 407.9 yards and 36.1 points per game. He is the seventh Lion to earn LSC Offensive Lineman of the Year honors since the award was inaugurated in 1984. He joins Jared Machorro (2017), R.J.   NOV 4 LONE STAR OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Miklo Smalls, Texas A&M-Commerce, SO, Sports & Recreation Management, QB, Plano, Texas, East Senior HS,...Smalls was the offensive catalyst in the Lions' 34-20 win over West Texas A&M, including responsibility for two important touchdowns in the fourth quarter. With the game tied at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Smalls went 7-for-7 on a 10-play, 82-yard drive, capping it with an 11-yard touchdown rush. It is his first career kickoff return for a score, second return for a score this season, and sixth career return touchdown. He averaged 18.7 yards per completion and had touchdown passes of 9, 73, 26, and 18 yards.
