  2022 ALL-OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM: SAF - Josh Reliford, Tennessee Tech,...Reliford ended the 2022 campaign second on the team in tackles, recording 84 stops with 8.5 tackles-for-loss for 30 yards and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards. He also broke up six passes, hurried the quarterback twice and forced two fumbles. Reliford had three games this season with double-digit tackles, including tying his career-best of 11 against Samford. The Fitzgerald, Ga., native also had 10 tackles against North Alabama and North Carolina Central. Following an injury to Isaac Cross, the Winder, Ga. moved over from guard to center and took over the role. Through his efforts, the Golden Eagle offense pulled together 4,331 yards of total offense with 14 rushing touchdowns and 20 receiving touchdowns. He had three tackles-for-loss, five pass breakups and two QB hurries. Carlisle had five games this season with double-digit tackles, including a career-high 16 stops against Kennesaw State, while collecting 13 against Tennessee State, and 11 each against Samford, Lindenwood and North Carolina Central.   Jeremiah Oatsvall threw for a touchdown and ran for another to help Tennessee Tech beat North Alabama 35-27 on Saturday night. David Gist, Justin Pegues and O.J. Ross also ran for a touchdown as Tennessee Tech (4-6) combined for 34 carries for 268 yards and four scores. Gist's 8-yard touchdown came on the last play of the third quarter for a 35-24 lead. Coming back from an injury, he carried the ball four times for 37 yards, including a three-yard touchdown in the third quarter.   Jeremiah Oatsvall accounted for three touchdowns and the Tennessee Tech defense stopped a two-point conversion attempt in the final seconds to beat Lindenwood 35-34 on Saturday. Lindenwood's Cade Brister threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Chase Lanckriet to cap an 18-play, 75-yard drive with 14 seconds remaining, but the Lions failed on the two-point try. Tennessee Tech took a 35-28 lead with 6:36 to play when Oatsvall scored on a 1-yard QB sneak on the previous drive. Oatsvall was 18 of 27 for 194 yards passing and threw one touchdown. He added 81 yards on the ground and two TD runs that included a 47-yarder in the third quarter. David Gist had a 71-yard touchdown run and finished with 100 yards rushing on eight carries for Tennessee Tech (3-6, 2-3 Ohio Valley Conference).   Jeremiah Oatsvall threw a pair of touchdown passes and Tennessee Tech shut out Eastern Illinois in the second half for a 20-17 victory on Saturday. Oatsvall connected with Quinton Cross for a 16-yard touchdown in the third quarter and Bradley Clark on a go-ahead 7-yarder with 6:45 remaining in the game. Oatsvall completed 20 of 31 passes for 181 yards. David Gist had 13 carries for 99 yards for Tennessee Tech (2-6, 1-3 Ohio Valley Conference). Jordan Vincent blocked Hayden Olsen's 37-yard field-goal attempt, Mark Aitken scooped up the ball and ran 65 yards into the end zone to stretch the Eastern Illinois (2-6, 1-3) lead to 17-3 at halftime.   Jeremiah Oatsvall threw for two touchdowns and Tennessee Tech scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to rally past Texas A&M-Commerce 26-25 on Saturday night. Oatsvall's final pass in the rally was an 8-yard toss to Willie Miller with 2 seconds remaining. The Golden Eagles (1-1) won despite committing five turnovers - three fumbles to go with two interceptions thrown by Oatsvall. Commerce took a 19-6 lead into the fourth quarter before Tech's David Gist scored on a 1-yard run to draw the Golden Eagles within six with 9:12 remaining.

Spencer Long raced 69 yards for a touchdown to put Commerce up 25-13 and the Lions (1-1) failed on a two-point try that would have given them a 14-point lead. Oatsvall then finished off the rally, leading the Golden Eagles to touchdowns with a 4-yard pass to Jayvian Allen and the winning pass to Miller. Oatsvall finished 20-of-26 passing for 226 yards. Gist had 67 yards rushing and Miller caught four passes for 93 yards. Eric Rodriguez was 14-of-22 for 169 yards with two touchdowns for the Lions. As a freshman, he threw for 1,148 yards and six touchdowns, then rushed for 453 yards and six touchdowns. In 2018, he improved, throwing for 1,631 yards and 20 touchdowns, then rushing for 517 yards and six touchdowns, setting the Austin Peay single-season record for touchdowns responsible for. He became the first APSU quarterback to throw for four or more touchdowns in three games in a single season.
