Helping the defense hold the Spartans scoreless throughout the entire second half, the graduate linebacker went on to seal the Pioneers' 31-14 win after returning an interception in the fourth quarter. The junior linebacker led the team with a career-best 11 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for a loss of seven yards. With the game knotted up at 31-all, Howard forced Dartmouth to punt after his third-down tackle resulted in a four-yard loss at the Big Green's own 49-yard line. In overtime, the Absecon, NJ native sealed the come-from-behind victory after intercepting a fourth-down pass from the five-yard line.
