  2019 ALL-BIG SKY CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Offensive Line, Wyatt Ming, Senior, Sacramento State,...Helping pave the way for the offense was a talented line which protected the team's quarterbacks and opened holes for the running backs. Wyatt Ming anchored that line from his center position and was recognized as a first team all-Big Sky selection. Ming was previously named honorable mention in 2017 before redshirting last season. In 2019, Ming started every game at center to lead an offense which averaged 469.0 yards per game. He finished the season with 36 catches for 514 yards and had at least one reception in every game. The redshirt freshman had five catches against both Arizona State and UC Davis for his season high.   Asher O'Hara tossed two first-quarter touchdown passes to Jimmy Marshall and Kylan Stribling returned an interception 38 yards for a score as Middle Tennessee rolled to a 38-17 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday night. O'Hara hit Marshall for a pair of 19-yard TDs, sandwiching them around a 14-yard scoring run by Old Dominion's Robert Washington, to put the Blue Raiders (4-7, 3-4 Conference USA) up 14-7 at the end of the first quarter. Middle Tennessee backup QB Chase Cunningham connected with Jarrin Pierce for a 57-yard scoring strike and a 21-7 Blue Raiders' lead early in the second quarter.

After a Nick Rice 27-yard field goal pulled the Monarchs (1-10, 0-7) within 21-10, Terelle West scored on a 6-yard run with 69 seconds left to give Middle Tennessee a 28-10 halftime lead. Stribling's pick-6 stretched the Blue Raiders' advantage to 35-10 at the 9:53 mark of the third quarter. Wolff added a 63-yard scoring strike to Aaron Moore in the third quarter and Crews Holt kicked a 46-yard field goal in the final period to wrap up the scoring for Old Dominion. O'Hara completed 18 of 25 passes for 185 yards and added 78 yards on 14 carries. Wolff finished 39-of-65 passing for 321 yards with an interception.   Pierre Williams recovered an onside kick that led to his to his game-winning touchdown reception with 23 seconds left - the Hornets' second score in the final 1:38 - and Sacramento State beat Northern Arizona 38-34 on Saturday. Jake Dunniway threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Gable before Devon Medeiros booted an onside kick over NAU's front line of defenders that Williams was able to snare at the Hornets 49-yard line. Five plays later Dunniway found Williams alone on the left side and he dove onto the pylon. The Lumberjacks (4-6, 2-4 Big Sky) used a 73-yard pass play from Case Cookus to Stacy Chukwumezie, a 54-yard field goal by Luis Aguilar and Joe Logan's 63-yard run in the final quarter to take a 34-24 lead. Logan finished with 210 yards rushing on 24 carries and three TDs. Dunniway threw for 384 yards, four touchdowns and an interception for the FCS eighth-ranked Hornets (7-3, 5-1).   WEEK 3 BIG SKY FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sacramento State defensive lineman Dariyn Choates led a Sacramento State defense that kept visiting Northern Colorado out of the endzone, as the Hornets defeated the Bears 50-0. The senior registered six total tackles, including a career-high 3.5 for a loss of nine yards. Choates added two forced fumbles and a pass breakup, as Sacramento State shutout an opponent for the first time since 2011.

He added to the team's point total when he stopped Milo Hall in the end zone on a rush attempt for Sacramento State's first safety in two years. The Hornets finished the game with 10.0 tackles-for-loss.   Asher O'Hara threw for four touchdowns, including one for 80 yards, as Middle Tennessee turned up the heat in the second half to beat Tennessee State 45-26 on Saturday night. O'Hara was 22-of-30 for 367 yards passing for the Blue Raiders (1-1). Chaton Mobley ran for 104 yards and two touchdowns and Crews Holt kicked a 30-yard field goal. O'Hara had three touchdown throws in the second half, starting with a 22-yard strike to Ty Lee to cap the first drive of the period. The team's next drive ended with a 30-yard throw from O'Hara to Jarrin Pierce and the Blue Raiders led 24-13. After TSU tightened it to 24-19 late in the third, Mobley's short TD run opened Middle Tennessee's lead to 31-19. TSU threatened again with a score to close to 31-26 midway through the fourth but once again, O'Hara found his man, this time CJ Windham, for a 28-yard score and a 38-26 advantage with 5:16 remaining.   Boise State defensive back Robert Lewis was arrested early Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence. According to arrest records on the Ada County Sheriff's website, Lewis was arrested by Boise Police and booked into the Ada County Jail at 3:25 a.m. Lewis, 22, is a backup cornerback that saw action in 10 games and had two tackles last season as a redshirt sophomore.

Boise State released a short statement Friday morning that said, "Boise State is aware of the situation and will handle according to department policy." An incident report from Boise Police said officers stopped Lewis after he ran a red light at the intersection of Capital and Bannock at 2:10 a.m. Friday morning. It was at that point they "observed an odor of alcohol and other signs of possible impairment. - Idaho Press-Tribune
