(Sun Prairie HS),...Kaminski and No. 5/7 North Dakota rebounded from a slow start to put up 55 unanswered points in a Homecoming victory over Murray State. After falling behind 21-0, Kaminski finished the 55-28 victory over the Racers with a career-high 98 rushing yards and a touchdown, while completing 18 of 24 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns. The Sun Prairie, Wisc., native sparked a 24-0 run in the second quarter with a 26-yard scoring strike to Nathan Hromadka and a career-best, 38-yard touchdown run as the Fighting Hawks regained the lead before halftime. Following the break, Kaminski added two more touchdown passes during a 28-0 spurt in the third quarter as he increased his FCS-leading touchdown passes total to 19 on the season. (Lisbon HS),...Olson graded out at 84 percent on 51 snaps as the Fighting Hawks' ground game churned out a season-high 303 yards and three touchdowns in the 55-28 victory over Murray State. He also did not allow a pressure or sack, helping the offense rack up 489 total yards of offense and 30 first downs. (Washington State),...Weir scored multiple touchdowns for the second straight week as No. 5/7 North Dakota routed Murray State 55-28 after overcoming a slow start. The sophomore wide receiver also hauled in a career-high five catches for 35 yards in the Homecoming win. His first touchdown came on a 57-yard punt return that evened the score at 21-21 after the Fighting Hawks had falling behind by three scores early in the contest. He would set up UND across midfield with an 18-yard punt return in the third quarter and cap that drive with a 17-yard touchdown reception to put the Fighting Hawks ahead 38-21. (Sun Prairie HS),...Kaminski accounted for all six touchdowns in No. 7/8 North Dakota's 42-35 road win at Indiana State in the MVFC opener for both programs. Kaminski threw four scoring tosses to take over the FCS lead with 16 on the campaign and added two more on the ground as the Fighting Hawks improved to 4-1 and opened Valley play with a road win for the second straight season. He completed 33-of-48 passes for a career-high 381 yards and added a career-best 86 rushing yards in the victory. Kaminski's total offense output of 457 yards were also a career-high and led all FCS players during the week. He also converted 11 third downs during the game, five with his legs and six with passes. (Maple Grove HS),...Langama produced 284 all-purpose yards in UND's 47-23 victory over Portland State, including a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Langama, who has back-to-back games with 200-plus all-purpose yardage, averaged 36.6 yards per return against the Vikings and added 83 rushing yards and a 19-yard reception. His kickoff return touchdown was the first special teams score of the season for the Fighting Hawks. The left tackle did not yield a pressure or sack in the contest, while helping the ground attack churn out a season-high 295 yards as that unit averaged 6.9 yards per carry and accounted for three touchdowns. He threw all five of his scoring tosses in the opening half, going 18-for-22 for 193 yards to help UND build a 41-12 at the break. Kaminski once again spread the ball around, finding nine different receivers and completing 79 percent of his passes as UND won its seventh straight Potato Bowl game.   Jerry Kaminski threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns, Matt Lawson ran for two touchdowns, and North Dakota scored all its points in the first half to beat Long Island University 42-21 on Thursday in a season opener for both teams. North Dakota is ranked in the top 10 in both the Stats Perform and AFCA preseason polls for the second time in program history. Kaminski threw first quarter touchdown passes of 14 yards to Korey Tai and 15 yards to Nathan Hromadka while Lawson wedged a 4-yard scoring run between the two.

Early in the second, Kaminski threw a 28-yard touchdown to Caleb Goodloe before Charles Langama carried it in from the 13 and Lawson ended the Fighting Hawks scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run with 2:27 left before halftime. Goodloe had five receptions for 118 yards. With 9:59 left in the third, the Sharks got on the scoreboard when Tyselle Spencer ran it in from the 13. To close the third, Luca Stanzani threw a 65-yard touchdown to Boa Veikei. Stanzani closed the scoring with 3:38 left when he ran it in from the 1 to end a 16-play, 68-yard drive that lasted 9:25.   Colton Brunell, Gaven Ziebarth and Charles Langama each had a touchdown run in the final quarter for North Dakota in a 31-6 win over No. 13 seed Tennessee Tech on Saturday in the first round of the FCS playoffs. North Dakota will play at No. 4 seed Tarleton State in the second round game on Saturday. Jerry Kaminski found Deng Deng in the end zone off a 21-yard pass in the second quarter to make it 10-0 for North Dakota (8-5). Later in the second half, Kaminski took a late hit to the helmet which kept him sidelined for the rest of the game. Kaminski finished with nine completions for 98 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

North Dakota relied heavily on their run game after Kaminski's injury. In the fourth quarter, Brunell scored on an 8-yard run, Ziebarth punched it in from three yards out, and Langama scored his first career touchdown off an 18-yard sprint up the middle. North Dakota's defense came up big multiple times, accounting for six sacks, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions and shut out Tennessee Tech for three quarters. Tennessee Tech's Kekoa Visperas completed 30 of 51 passes for 278 yards and threw one touchdown - a 45-yarder to Brian Courtney in the third quarter.   WEEK 12 MISSOURI VALLEY OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: OL Seth Anderson, North Dakota, 5th, 6-5, 300, Moorhead, Minn.,...In the 35-17 win at Murray State, Seth Anderson and North Dakota's offensive line helped the Fighting Hawks register 344 yards of offense, led by 213 yards on the ground. Sawyer Seidl paced the rushing attack with 96 yards and a touchdown on 22 attempts. Colton Brunell and Jerry Kaminski also had second-half touchdown runs in the victory. After just having 129 yards of offense in the first 30 minutes, the Fighting Hawks racked up 215 yards offensively in the second half and outscored the Racers by a 28-8 margin.   Jerry Kaminski threw for one touchdown and ran for another, Jonnie Wiltshire scored on an interception return and North Dakota defeated Murray State 35-17 on Saturday. Kaminski capped a 91-yard with a 15-yard touchdown pass to BJ Fleming to open the scoring and added a 28-yard run late to ice the game. Sawyer Seidl carried 22 times for 96 yards and a 3-yard run on the opening drive of the second half to give the Fighting Hawks (7-4, 5-2 Missouri Valley Football Conference) a 14-9 lead after the Racers (0-11, 0-7) had three field goals in the second quarter for a 9-7 lead. North Dakota has not allowed a first-quarter touchdown in the last eight games.

Wiltshire had his 30-yard pick-6 after that to make it 21-8 and then Colton Brunell scored on a 1-yard plunge. Baxter Wright was 23-of-34 passing but picked up just 140 yards for the Racers. He picked up a fourth-quarter touchdown on an 8-yard run. It was a good bounce-back win for the Fighting Hawks, the 18th-ranked team in the FCS coaches poll. Top-ranked North Dakota State beat them 15-10 with a touchdown inside the final three minutes and in their third game they lost to now-No. 2 Montana 24-23, allowing a touchdown with less than two minutes to go. - AP College Football

  Jerry Kaminski threw four touchdown passes, Sawyer Seidl had 165 scrimmage yards with two touchdowns and North Dakota routed Indiana State 46-17 on Saturday. The Fighting Hawks (No. 10 FCS coaches poll, 6-2, 4-0 Missouri Valley Football Conference) led 24-3 at halftime then added 20 points in the third quarter for an insurmountable 44-10 lead. Kaminski completed 22 of 34 passes for 300 yards. His touchdowns went to four receivers.

Seidl gained 104 yards rushing with one touchdown and added 61 yards receiving with another touchdown. He had a long run of 31 yards and a long reception of 56 yards, although neither play resulted in a touchdown. Quarterbacks Brock Riddle and Keegan Patterson completed only 10 of 34 passes for 158 yards for Indiana State (2-6, 0-4). North Dakota intercepted three passes. The blowout comes after two tight games in the series. Indiana State won 35-31 last season and North Dakota won 36-33 in overtime in 2023. - AP College Football

UND was powered by Sawyer Seidl, who had 108 yards and three rushing touchdowns on 14 carries. He also added an 11-yard receiving touchdown in the third quarter to finish with four scores. The Hawks averaged 6.2 yards per carry and had 50 rushes in the game. Becher graded out at 90 percent and had two knock downs. - Missouri Valley Football
