  WEEK 11 PIONEER FOOTBALL LEAGUE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ryan Ricketti, Valparaiso (Freshman (RS), Return Specialist, Rocky River, Ohio),...Ricketti amassed an FCS season best 198 yards on four kickoff returns, including his second 100-yard kick return for a touchdown, in Valparaiso's 43-27 loss to San Diego. His 100-yard kick return gave Valparaiso a 21-20 lead with 10:44 remaining in the third quarter. Averaging 49.5 yards per return, he also had kick returns of 39, 19, and 40 yards, and finished with 256 all-purpose yards with six receptions for 58 yards added to his tally. He is the only FCS kick returner with two 100-yard returns this season (13 100-yard returns in 2025) and the first FCS player with multiple 100-yarders in a season since 2022. - Pioneer Football League

  Rowan Keefe scored on a 2-yard run in overtime then hit Colin Hayes with a two-point conversion pass to win it as Valparaiso defeated Stetson 32-31 on Saturday. The Beacons trailed 24-0 in the third quarter before Keefe led a rally that included three touchdowns and three two-point conversions. Valparaiso tied it with one second left in regulation when Keefe threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Devin Yeats and followed it up with a two-point pass to Hayes.

In overtime, Chris Stephenson's 3-yard pass to Dylan Redmon followed by a successful PAT gave Stetson a 31-24 lead. On Valpo's possession, an 18-yard pass to Jay Melchiori set up Keefe's touchdown and the Beacons won it with their fourth successful two-point attempt. Keefe completed 18 of 26 passes for 203 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for Valpo (2-9, 1-6 Pioneer Football League). Noah Long had 92 yards rushing and Ryan Ricketti 103 receiving yards. Hayes caught only three passes for 19 yards but had two two-point receptions.   2022 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: Josiah Silver, New Hampshire, DL, So.,...Silver is 15th nationally in sacks (0.77 per game and 28th in tackles for loss (1.3 per game); those numbers rank third in the CAA in sacks and fourth in tackles for loss. He leads all Wildcats with 14 tackles for loss and ranks second in sacks (8.5). Silver is fourth in both solo (27) and total (42) tackles. His other stats include three quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, a blocked punt and a pass breakup. Silver recorded a season-high six tackles, including five solo stops, at the University of Richmond; three of those tackles were behind the line of scrimmage with one sack and he also had a pair of quarterback hurries against the Spiders. Silver recorded at least one tackle for loss each of the first nine games of the season and a sack in 8 of 11 games.   2022 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: Dylan Ruiz, New Hampshire, DL, So.,...Ruiz is No. 5 in the nation in sacks (1.00 per game) as well as 37th in tackles for loss (1.2 per game); those numbers ranks second in the CAA in sacks and fifth in tackles for loss. He has a team-leading 11 sacks and ranks second with 13.5 tackles for loss. Ruiz ranks second in total tackles and assisted tackles (22), as well as tied for second in solo tackles (30). His other stats include a team-leading seven quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.

Ruiz has sacked the quarterback in 7 of 11 games this season and recorded multiple sacks in a game three times, including a career high of three at Towson. He finished with 2.5 sacks against Elon University and two vs. Stony Brook University. Ruiz elevated his play the last two weeks of the regular season. He made a career-high 11 tackles, including 3.15 for loss with one sack, and two quarterback hurries Nov. 19 at Maine. He ranks second on the team in receptions (40) and is third in receiving yards (319). Laube is UNH's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2016, when Dalton Crossan finished with 1,281.   Dylan Laube ran for three touchdowns and pulled in an 87-yard touchdown pass to lead New Hampshire to a 52-42 win over Fordham in a first-round game in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs on Saturday. The win sends the Wildcats into a second-round matchup December 3 with undefeated Patriot League champion Holy Cross, ranked No. 6. Max Brosmer dumped a short pass to Laube on the Wildcats' second play from scrimmage and the running back won a foot race to the corner, then raced down the sideline for an 87-yard touchdown - high-fiving his blocking back at the 20 on his way to the end zone. Brosmer hit Sean Coyne for a short touchdown and connected with Heron Maurisseau on a 65-yard score to put New Hampshire up 21-7 after one quarter.

Maurisseau added a 71-yard run for a touchdown on the opening play of the second half and Laube's third rushing touchdown, an 18-yard burst with 4:10 left pushed the lead to 52-34. Brosmer was 18 of 34 passing for 351 yards and three touchdowns. Laube carried 29 times for 157 yards. Fordham's Tim DeMorat threw for 330 yards, completing 25 of 41 attempts, with three touchdowns but was picked off on back-to-back possessions in the first half. Fotis Kokosioulis had two short touchdowns for the Rams and caught 14 passes for 132 yards.   Dylan Laube ran for three touchdowns and New Hampshire picked up a share of its first Colonial Athletic Association title since 2014 by holding off rival Maine in overtime, 42-41 Saturday to win the Border Battle rivalry game. The Black Bears, who tied the game with 3:11 left in regulation when Elijah Barnwell punched in from the 2-yard line, scored on Joe Fagnano's 19-yard touchdown pass to Rohan Jones in their half of the first overtime period. Maine opted to go for the outright win with a two-point conversion, but Fagnano's pass to Freddie Brock fell incomplete.

New Hampshire (8-3, 7-1) finished the regular season tied with William & Mary, which knocked off Richmond 37-26 Saturday to finish 7-1 in conference. The Tribe claims the CAA's automatic berth into the FCS playoffs on a tiebreaker. The Wildcats now await an at-large berth when the tournament field is announced Sunday. UNH has not reached the FCS playoffs since 2017. Barnwell finished with 143 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns for the Black Bears (2-9, 2-6). Zavier Scott gained 108 yards on nine carries and Fagnano ran for 79 yards on a dozen carries. Laube was the New Hampshire workhorse, carrying 30 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns, including a 48-yard run in the third quarter to give New Hampshire a 28-14 lead.
