The Oregon Ducks are losing another reserve receiver to transfer. Isaah Crocker, who did not record a statistic while playing 23 snaps over four games this season, announced he has entered the transfer portal. The 6-foot-1, 183-pound Crocker has appeared in 10 games over five seasons at UO, logging seven catches for 107 yards, all in 2021. He will be a sixth-year senior with one year of eligibility remaining. Crocker redshirted in 2018, played against Nevada in 2019, did not play in 2020, and had six of his seven catches for 91 of his 107 yards in the final two games of 2021. - The Oregonian

2022 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM: DL - Dom Peterson, Sr., Nevada,...For Peterson, it is his fourth-career All-Mountain West honor, and second selection to the Second Team, while Taua earns his third All-MW honor, and Williams his second. Peterson, in addition to his second-team selections in 2020 and this season, was named to the First Team in 2019 and honorable mention in 2021. Taua, the 2018 Mountain West Freshman of the Year, is a two-time honorable mention (2019, 2022) with a second-team honor (2020). Williams earned his first honorable mention in 2020. Peterson earned his fourth All-Mountain West nod with another dominant season anchoring the Wolf Pack's front four.

Peterson wrapped his final season with 6.0 sacks (10th in the conference) and 13.0 tackles-for-loss among his 34 total tackles. His disruptive play in the trenches contributed also to Nevada's takeaways, as Peterson forced a pair of fumbles on strip sacks, and led the Mountain West, and ranked tied for third in the country, with three fumble recoveries. Peterson's 2022 campaign also saw him rise up Nevada's career rankings in multiple categories. He finishes his career ranked second in Wolf Pack history with 55.5 tackles-for-loss, and third with 28.0 sacks. - Nevada Football

2022 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: DB - Bentlee Sanders, Sr., Nevada,...Sanders' selection to the All-Mountain West First Team adds to a banner year for the fifth-year safety. He is one of nine players in the country with five interceptions, just one back of the national lead (six). Sanders' ballhawking was a major key to Nevada's defense in 2022, as he had a hand in eight of the Pack's 19 takeaways on the season (five interceptions, three forced fumbles which were each recovered by the Pack). Through the end of the regular season (Nov. 26), Sanders leads the Mountain West in interceptions (five), forced fumbles (three, sharing the lead), and solo tackles (66), while his 82 total tackles rank 13th among all Mountain West defenders. - Nevada Football

Although action doesn't officially start until Monday, among the reported quarterbacks in, or planning to be to enter the transfer portal as of Dec. 1 is Colorado's Brendon Lewis: He started all 12 games last season as a redshirt freshman, then played in two games this season. He opened the season as the starter, didn't play at all in the second game, played as a backup in the third game and that was it. Lewis didn't put up notable numbers, but he also played in two bad offenses. - NFL Draft Scout and online sources

Colorado's former starting quarterback has put his name into the NCAA transfer portal. On Tuesday, sophomore Brendon Lewis announced that he has decided to leave CU. Lewis was the opening day starter on Sept. 2 against TCU, but had slipped to third on the depth chart in recent weeks. A third-year sophomore from Melissa, Tex., Lewis completed 170-of-291 passes (58.4%) for 1,727 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions in his career with the Buffs, while adding 304 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He finishes his CU career with 156 consecutive passes without an interception - the second-longest streak in Buffs' history. Lewis made his CU debut in the 2020 Alamo Bowl, coming off the bench in the Buffs' 55-23 loss to Texas. He completed 6-of-10 passes for 95 yards and ran for 73 yards and a touchdown in that game. - Daily Camera

When asked about positives from the 2021 season, Colorado quarterback Brendon Lewis had to think for a few seconds. "Towards the end of the season, we showed improvement and started moving the ball," he said, before quickly shifting to thoughts of the upcoming season. "We're gonna see a lot more of that this year. (Offensive coordinator Mike) Sanford has done a great job and made a new offense for everybody so it's going to be really fun." It's understandable that Lewis wouldn't dwell too much on the 2021 season, because it was filled with growing pains. As a freshman, first-year starter, Lewis played behind a struggling offensive line and wound up at or near the bottom of the Pac-12 in passer rating, completion percentage and yards per game as the Buffaloes went 4-8 (3-6 Pac-12).

There were highlights, including leading the Buffs to an overtime win against Oregon State and scoring the deciding touchdown in a home win against Washington. Both of those came in November. "The best part of that is that he played for 12 games for us last year," head coach Karl Dorrell said. Lewis, who is competing to keep his starting job, has spent the past eight months learning from that experience. "Watching a lot of film," he said of his offseason. "When we learned the new offense with coach Sanford, we went back and I tried to visualize the plays that he would call, the looks that he would see from last season. So we did a lot of that. A lot of fine tweaking on some mechanical things, lower body-type stuff, a lot of grinding. It was really fun." Lewis is now a third-year sophomore and the Buffs believe he has improved since the end of last season. - Denver Post

Former Oregon linebacker Adrian Jackson Jr. is looking to continue his career elsewhere. Jackson announced he's in the transfer portal on Thursday, a week after he was removed from UO's roster. A situational pass rusher for much of his career, Jackson is entering his fifth-year redshirt-junior season. He had 16 tackles, including 2.5 for loss, in 2021. A right foot injury kept him out for all of 2019, then a left foot injury ended his 2020 season after four games, when he had four tackles with a sack. As a true freshman, Jackson had 13 tackles with one for loss. - The Oregonian
