  Raymond Moore III threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns, and Morgan State's fourth-quarter comeback helped the Bears out of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference cellar with a 35-28 victory over Norfolk State on Saturday. Both teams entered as the only squads winless in conference. Trailing 28-21 entering the fourth, Moore threw a 13-yard scoring pass to Justin Perry with 10:15 left to bring the Bears (4-7, 1-3) into tie.

Morgan State was set up with a short field when Malique Leatherbury returned Noah Tracey's punt 34 yards to the Spartans' 41-yard line. On the play, Mayoy McGodfred was penalized for blocking out of bounds which set up Morgan State on Norfolk State's 13. Moore crashed in from the goal line three plays later for the go-ahead score. The Spartans turned it over on downs on their last drive. Vinson Berry threw for 174 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Spartans (1-10, 0-4).   Dorian Harris ran for 95 yards, five of his teammates scored rushing touchdowns, and Morgan State defeated Virginia Lynchburg 44-7 on Saturday. Randall Nauden, Raymond Moore III and Keith Jenkins Jr. all had rushing touchdowns in the first half and the Bears (3-4) also scored with a safety for a 23-0 halftime lead against their NCCAA opponent. Moore threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Justin Perry in the third quarter then Dae'Jeaun Dennis and Josiah Bushnell added rushing touchdowns in the fourth. Max Zavala threw a short TD pass to Jacob Newman for the Dragons' only score. Moore passed for 173 yards and Morgan State had 354 yards rushing.   Josiah Blake blocked a field goal with 1:17 to go, and Jadon Carter brought it back 94 yards for the go-ahead score as Morgan State defeated Division II Miles College 24-17 in the Circle City Classic on Saturday. The Bears (2-3) withstood a Miles comeback after leading by as many as 17 points. Raymond Moore III led the rushing attack with 83 yards on 10 carries, and Morgan State had 329 yards of total offense with 253 on the ground. After a nine-play, 75-yard drive stalled in the red zone, Reid Grek lined up for his second field goal attempt, and Blake got the block to prevent the lead change. He connected on a 33-yarder that brought the Golden Bears (0-4) into a 17-17 tie just four minutes prior.   Kobe Muasau threw for 156 yards and a touchdown, Jason Collins Jr. rushed for 67 yards and a score, and Morgan State beat Division II member Central State (Ohio) 27-0 on Saturday for its first victory of the season. Morgan State (1-3), which trails the all-time series 10-4, picked up its first victory over Central State since 1975. The teams' most recent matchup was an 18–17 victory for Central State in 1996. Morgan State took a 6-0 lead in the opening four minutes after Muasau connected with Tyler Wilkins on a 30-yard score to cap a four-play, 76-yard drive.

Joshua Narh made it 13-0 on a 32-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Collins, the MEAC preseason offensive player of the year, scored on a 7-yard run with 3:47 left before halftime for a 20-0 lead. Randall Nauden added a 1-yard run in the fourth. Tison Hill was 12 of 17 for 83 yards with an interception for Central State. Morgan has games against Miles College, Georgetown and Virginia-Lynchburg before opening MEAC play against Howard on Oct. 25. - AP College Football
