  2022 ALL-CONFERENCE USA HONORABLE MENTION: DB: Jordan Dunbar, Rice,...Shea Baker was named to the second team while Jack Bradley, Ekenna Enechuckwu, Jordan Dunbar, Josh Pearcy, Bradley Rozner, Trey Schuman and Clay Servin earned honorable mention recognition.   Pitt defensive back Khalil Anderson, a redshirt freshman from Atlanta who appeared in only three games over the past two seasons, said Wednesday he plans to enter his name in the NCAA transfer portal. Anderson (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) was a three-star prospect, according to Rivals.com, in Pitt's 2021 class. When he left Riverwood (Ga.) High School, he was rated one of the nation's top 25 cornerbacks by 247Sports after intercepting eight passes in two seasons. Since the end of the regular season, four Pitt players have announced plans to transfer. He ranks eighth in the MVFC in receiving touchdowns, fifth in receptions per game (4.4), seventh in receiving yards (674) and 7th in receiving yards per game (61.3). He pulled in a season-high eight receptions for 160 yards at Central Arkansas on Sept. 1 and then matched that reception total with eight catches for 96 yards and three touchdowns in the MSU win over UT Martin on Sept. 8. He also logged six total tackles and four solos at North Dakota on Oct. 1. He finished the season with 51 total stops, 18 solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He ends his MSU career ranked No. 4 all-time in tackles for loss (36.5) and No. 10 in sacks (20.0).   NOV 21 MISSOURI VALLEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: RB Jacardia Wright, Missouri State - The transfer from Kansas State also was prominent in MSU's season-high 247-yard rushing effort at Indiana State. Wright carried 19 times for 85 yards (4.5 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. He carried 7 times for 36 yards on MSU's first fourth-quarter touchdown drive, consuming a season-high 6 minutes, 53 seconds of clock on a TD drive that gave the Bears a 17-7 lead at the time.   Kevon Latulas had 100 rushing yards and scored a touchdown, Jacardia Wright added 85 yards and two touchdowns and Missouri State closed out its season with a 24-7 win over Indiana State on Saturday afternoon. The Bears were ranked as high as No. 4 in the FCS at one point in the season but stumbled to five straight losses. Missouri State (5-6, 3-5 Missouri Valley Football Conference) won three of its last four games.

This is the first season the Bears will not make the FCS playoffs in Bobby Petrino's three years as head coach. Wright, who scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter, scored from 5 yards out early in the fourth quarter to stake Missouri State to a 17-7 lead. Latulas punched in from the 1 with 4:21 left to set the final margin.   NOV 14 MISSOURI VALLEY PLATER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: QB Jason Shelley, Missouri State - In his final home game, senior Jason Shelley mounted his sixth fourth-quarter comeback victory for MSU, leading the Bears on a 92-yard game-winning TD drive in the final period against Youngstown State on Saturday. Shelley's 9-yard touchdown pass to Ty Scott capped the 13-play, drive that took just over four minutes and produced the seventh and final lead change of the senior day win. Shelley racked up 221 yards passing on the day. Shelley finished 19-of-37 with no interceptions -- his 7th game this season with no interceptions. The two-year MSU starter (22 games) reached 40 career TD passes, extended his school record with his 15th straight game with a TD pass, and eclipsed a school record with his 19th career 200-yard passing effort. - Missouri Valley Football

Manuleleua notched 4 solo stops and a tackle for loss in his pinnacle effort, also racking up two stops on third down in his final home contest.
