SEPT 6 MISSOURI VALLEY FOOTBALL NOTABLE PERFORMANCE: P Grant Burkett, Missouri State -- Missouri State's punter averaged 49.0 yards on six attempts -- the fourth-best single-game punting average in program history -- to help MSU win the field position ba ttle at No. 22-ranked Oklahoma State. Burkett pinned the Cowboys inside their own 20 three times and tallied three punts of 50 yards or better on the evening with a long of 53.
