  07/10/19 - Michael DannaSr/2020, Michigan, 6-2, 257 (DS#31 DE) + More +

It's only been about two weeks, and these are just summer workouts, but Michael Danna is already making an early impression at Michigan. The graduate transfer defensive end from Central Michigan arrived on campus in late June and was immediately enrolled in summer workouts under Ben Herbert and the Michigan strength staff. And so far, Danna has passed with flying colors. "His work ethic has been outstanding," Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh said this week on his "Attack Each Day" podcast. "He carries himself like he's on a mission - to make Michigan great and to make himself great.

Harbaugh has already affixed the Don Brown-led "dude" status on Danna, who signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Michigan in February. He played in 38 games over three seasons at CMU, starting 16 of them, and earned first-team all-Mid-American Conference honors in 2018 thanks to a career-best 66 tackles (15 for a loss) and 9 1/2 sacks. - MLive.com
