  WEEK 2 BIG 12 SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Redshirt freshman Kyle Konrardy propelled the Cyclones to a 20-19 victory over No. 21 Iowa in Saturday's rivalry game with a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter. His first make came from 46 yards and marked the first made field goal of his career. Konrardy later connected on the game-winning kick from 54 yards with six seconds remaining.   Rocco Becht threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another in Iowa State's 21-3 win over North Dakota on Saturday. Becht had no trouble spreading the ball to his receivers as he completed a pass to six different receivers. His top target was Jaylin Noel, who finished with 135 yards and a touchdown. This duo was also methodical in Iowa State's first drive of the game. The two connected for a 54-yard completion that was followed by a 21-yard TD pass to wide receiver Jayden Higgins. Becht also threw a 14-yard TD pass to Noel, and his 2-yard run in the fourth quarter finished the scoring.

North Dakota's Simon Romfo, making his frist career start after being a backup to the now-Michigan State quarterback Tommy Schuster, was 17 of 30 for 121 yards. Romfo led a North Dakota offense that ran for 174 yards and held a nearly 16-minute advantage in time of possession. The Fighting Hawks' longest drive came late in the first quarter. They went on a 23-play, 88-yard drive that resulted in a field goal by C.J. Elrichs. The drive lasted 12:24 and the 23 plays were the most in an Bowl Subdivision game since at least 2014, according to SportRadar. - AP College Football

  2022 BILETNIKOFF AWARD FINALIST (OUTSTANDING RECEIVER): Xavier Hutchinson, Iowa State,...Iowa State senior wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson is one of three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position. Hutchinson recently concluded one of the best careers in school history with one of the best seasons ever by a Cyclone wide receiver. The Jacksonville, Florida, native, broke his own school record with 107, leading the nation in receptions and receptions per game (8.9) during the regular season.

He's one of just two receivers nationally with more than 100 catches. He also led the Big 12 Conference and finished seventh nationally with 1,171 receiving yards. Hutchinson caught at least eight passes in 11 of 12 games as a senior. He finished the season with six touchdown receptions, including the game-winner in Iowa State's victory at Iowa in week two of the season. In his three-year career, Hutchinson broke the Iowa State career record with 254 receptions and 13 100-yard games. He also posted a school-record nine games with 10 or more receptions. His 254 receptions were also a Big 12 record for three-year players. Hutchinson reached the end zone 15 times in his career, tied for the fifth-most in school history. - Iowa State Football
