  2025 CAA CO-OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Elon freshman quarterback Landen Clark made an impact as a passer and runner, ranking fourth in the CAA and 24th in FCS in total offense (244.6 ypg). The freshman completed 155-of-277 passes for 2,321 yards and 18 touchdowns and was Elon's second-leading rusher with 614 yards and 11 TD's.   Landen Clark threw four touchdown passes and ran for two scores and Elon coasted to a 55-17 in over North Carolina A&T on Saturday in a season finale. Clark was 10-of-24 passing for 231 yards and had 105 yards on 14 keepers. Dan Frederick carried 17 times for 101 yards and a score and Isaiah Fuhrmann had five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Clark scored on runs 2 of an 86 yards for the Phoenix (6-6, 4-4 Coastal Athletic Association), and he had plays of 76 and 54 yards among his touchdown passes. The Phoenix piled up 468 yards and held the Aggies to 217. Nelson Layne was 11-of-20 passing for 160 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Aggies (2-10, 2-6). - AP College Football

  Landen Clark threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores, and Elon scored 14 points inside the final six minutes to beat Campbell 31-24 on Saturday. Clark's 19-yard touchdown run capped a 12-play, 70-yard drive that tied it 24-all with 5:10 to play. Kamden Sixkiller then drove Campbell down the field, and on third-and-5 ran 14 yards before Elon's Asher Cunningham forced a fumble that Ishmel Atkins recovered. Two plays later, Clark threw a pass from the end zone and hit Isaiah Fuhrmann in stride for a 96-yard touchdown. With 1:03 left, Sixkiller drove the Camels to the Elon 33 before ending the game with an interception.

Clark completed 13 of 28 passes for 228 yards and added 59 yards rushing on 15 carries. Fuhrmann caught three passes for 116 yards for the Phoenix (5-6, 3-4 Coastal Athletic Association), who snapped a four-game losing streak. Sixkiller was 23-of-32 passing for 268 yards and threw one interception for Campbell (2-9, 2-5). Trayjen Llanas-Wilcox scored on a 90-yard punt return early in the third quarter for the Fighting Camels. Naieem Kearney's 3-yard touchdown run for Campbell tied it at 17-all with 11:53 remaining.   Landen Clark threw for 169 yards, 135 of them to Isaiah Furhmann, and TJ Thomas Jr. had two rushing touchdowns in Elon's 41-20 conference-opening win over Hampton on Saturday afternoon. Furhmann had one touchdown, an 81-yard reception in the second quarter. Jimmyll Williams rushed for 172 yards on 13 attempts, including a 14-yard touchdown run to ice the game for the Phoenix (3-2, 1-0 Coastal Athletic Association). Clark, a redshirt freshman, also ran for a 6-yard touchdown.

Jah'Kei Chavis had a 75-yard TD run in the second quarter for Hampton (1-4, 0-2). Tae'Shaun Johnson caught a 44-yard pass for a touchdown in the third quarter. Braeden Davis went 14 for 27 for 194 yards passing and threw two interceptions for the Pirates. Luke Barnes hit field goals from 33 and 34 yards out for Elon. Hampton's Brett Starling made two field goals in the first quarter, from 44 and 33 yards out. Elon is 3-1 in the series. - AP College Football

  Landen Clark accounted for 377 yards of offense and four touchdowns to lead Elon to a 37-31 victory over Western Carolina on Saturday. Clark broke loose on a 10-yard touchdown run and connected with Isaiah Fuhrmann on the two-point conversion to cap the scoring with about five minutes left. Asher Cunningham intercepted Isaac Lee at the Western Carolina 37 with 49 seconds left to seal it. Clark finished 11-of-28 passing for 305 yards with two touchdowns and added 72 yards on the ground with two scores. He also had a 10-yard TD run in the second quarter.

Fuhrmann made five catches for 105 yards receiving. Zimere Winston caught a 78-yard touchdown pass on the opening drive for Elon, and Landyn Backey's 35-yard touchdown catch put the Phoenix up 14-7 late in the first quarter. Lee completed 19 of 31 passes for 132 yards and Bennett Judy was 17-of-24 passing for 114 yards. They each threw a touchdown pass for Western Carolina (0-3). Dominic Dutton's 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half pulled Western Carolina to 23-20. Dutton also had touchdown catch in the second quarter. James Tyre picked up a fumbled ball and returned it 62 yards for a touchdown that gave the Catamounts a 28-23 lead early in the third quarter. It was Elon's first game at Western Carolina since 2013 and its first win in Cullowhee since 2011. - AP College Football

  Landen Clark threw three touchdown passes and ran for another TD and Elon scored 31 second-quarter points on Saturday night as the Phoenix beat Davidson 55-7. Clark opened the scoring with a 1-yard TD run about 3 1/2 minutes into the game, then hit Landyn Backey for scoring strikes of 22 and 44 yards to make it 24-0 with 8:04 left in the first half. TJ Thomas Jr. ran for a 5-yard touchdown, Luke Barnes - who made a 27-yard field goal in the first quarter - kicked a 38-yarder, and Isaiah Fuhrmann caught a 20-yard TD pass from Clark with 44 seconds left in the second quarter that made it 41-0 at halftime.

Coulter Cleland threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Ivan Hoyt early in the third quarter for Davidson (0-2). Jimmyll Williams and Dan Frederick each added a touchdown run for Elon (1-1), which finished with 289 yards rushing. The Phoenix had 30 first downs and 547 total yards. Davidson converted 3 of 14 third downs and finished with 158 total yards. - AP College Football
