  Grayson Saunier threw a pair of touchdown passes in a 24-point second half for Dartmouth to lead a 30-13 win over Fordham on Saturday. Saunier was 21-of-29 passing with 281 yards. He made up for a fourth-quarter error to lead the win. Saunier fumbled at the Dartmouth 36-yard line with 12:20 left in the fourth quarter, allowing to Fordham (1-6) cut its deficit to 16-13 on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Gunnar Smith to Jack Freeburg. Smith was 21 of 35 for 238 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

</p>Saunier quickly atoned for the error, finding Luke Rives on a 24-yard touchdown to retake a 10-point lead with 9:21 remaining. Less than six minutes later, he put the game away with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Grayson O'Bara. D.J. Crowther opened the scoring for the Big Green (4-1) in the second half with a 20-yard touchdown run. The teams exchanged field goals to conclude the first half tied at 6. - AP College Football

  OCT 13 IVY LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sean Williams, Dartmouth,...The weekly award marks the second of Williams' career and first since earning Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 10, 2022. That came after an interception at Yale for Williams. Flash forward three years and Williams had another, making a key fourth-quarter pick as part of the Big Green's 10-point comeback. He also added five tackles and a pass breakup.   OCT 13 IVY LEAGUE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Owen Zalc, Dartmouth,...The award for Zalc marks his first of the season, eighth of his career and fifth Special Teams Player of the Week honor. He came up with a clutch 51-yard field goal as time expired to give the Big Green the victory. It marked the third 50+ yard field goal of his career. The kick was tied for the 13th longest kick in the FCS this season and longest in the Ivy League. It's the longest kick in the Ivy League since Princeton's Jeffrey Sexton had a 51-yarder last October vs. Harvard. Zalc was also 2-for-2 on extra points Saturday. - Dartmouth Football

  Quarterback Grayson Saunier ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns and Owen Zalc's 51-yard field goal as time expired sent Dartmouth to a dramatic 17-16 win over Yale on Saturday. Zalc missed from 31 yards in the first quarter and from 56 in the third before his end-of-game heroics. On the seven-play, 42-yard scoring drive, Saunier completed 3 of 4 for 37 yards with the big play being a 22-yard completion to Ky'Dric Fisher on third-and-5 to put the ball at the Bulldogs' 33 and set up Zalc.

On the prior drive, Yale took a 16-14 lead on the strength of a 13-play, 70-yard drive that ended when Dante Reno threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Graham Smith with 37 seconds left. Yale (2-2, 1-1) built a 10-0 lead through three quarters before the Big Green (3-1, 1-1 Ivy League) rallied. Saunier ran it in from the 6 at the end of an 11-play, 92-yard drive that lasted a little more than five minutes. On Yale's next drive, Dartmouth's Sean Williams intercepted Reno. Six plays later, Saunier ran it in from 37 yards out for a 14-10 lead. On the drive, Yale's Abu Kamara intercepted Saunier, but the Bulldogs' Phoenix Grant was called for a personal foul and Dartmouth maintained possession.   SEPT 22 IVY LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D.J. Crowther, Dartmouth,...Crowther finished with 143 yards on 20 carries, and three touchdowns, all three shattering his previous career highs. He also had three catches for 32 yards, finishing with 175 yards from scrimmage as part of the Big Green's 27-20 win over No. 25/23 New Hampshire. Crowther had rushing scores of four, 16 and 33 yards, coming in the second, third and fourth quarters. His three rushing touchdowns marked the most by a Dartmouth running back since Ryder Stone had three against Brown on November 15, 2014. Dartmouth's win marked its first against a nationally-ranked opponent since its last win over UNH; the Big Green beat No. 23 New Hampshire 38-21 on Oct. 16, 2021. - Dartmouth Football

  Grayson Saunier threw for a career-best 407 yards, including a 50-yard connection with KyDric Fisher with 16 seconds to go to give Dartmouth a 35-28 win over Central Connecticut on Saturday. The Blue Devils had put together a 12-play, 80-yard drive to tie the game on a 5-yard pass from Brady Olson to Michael Trovarelli with 58-seconds left. Saunier then complete three-straight short passes to get the ball to midfield. After an incompletion he found Fisher behind the defense deep down the right sideline. Central Connecticut then got a 35-yard kickoff return to get the ball near midfield. There was an incompletion, then a short-pass, lateral and lost fumble on the final play of the game.

Saunier was 30-of-44 passing with a 71-yard touchdown pass to Grayson O'Bara, who had seven catches for a career-high 128 yards for the Big Green (2-0). D.J. Crowther had 86 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Olson was 25 of 33 for 223 yards and three touchdowns for the Blue Devils (2-2). He sandwiched short touchdown passes to David Pardo and Paul Marsh Jr., around Crowther's first TD for a 14-7 lead. Crowther had his second score and the Big Green added two field goals to lead 20-14 at the half. - AP College Football

  Grayson Saunier scored the go-ahead touchdown with under five minutes remaining, D.J. Crowther had 143 yards rushing and Dartmouth defeated New Hampshire 27-20 on Saturday in the season opener for the Big Green. Saunier, who completed 22 of 30 passes for 244 yards, ran 1-yard for a 25-20 lead with 4:50 remaining in the game and ran for the two-point conversion to make it a seven-point lead. New Hampshire's final drive ended at the Dartmouth 23-yard line when Matt Vezza threw incomplete on fourth down. The Wildcats led 10-0 after one quarter, then Crowther scored on a 10-yard run to make it 10-7 at halftime. Crowther's 16-yard touchdown run in the third quarter gave Dartmouth a 13-10 lead.

New Hampshire tied it with Nick Reed's 52-yard field goal in the third quarter, then Crowther's 33-yard TD run had Dartmouth back in front 19-13 after the extra point was missed. Vezza's 38-yard touchdown pass to Chase Wilson put the Wildcats back ahead, 20-19, midway through the fourth before Dartmouth followed with a nine-play, 75-yard drive that ended with Saunier's go-ahead score. Vezza was 22-for-35 passing for 273 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Wilson had six receptions for 120 yards for the Wildcats (2-2), ranked No. 23 in the FCS coaches' poll. Grayson O'Bara had six receptions for 106 yards for the Big Green, who won their season opener for the 15th time in the last 16 seasons. UNH leads the in-state series 21-20-2. - AP College Football

  Ryan Bloch kicked a career-long 32-yard field goal with four seconds left and Dartmouth held off a late comeback by Columbia to post a 27-24 victory Saturday to earn its first win in three Ivy League starts. Robert Crockett III blocked a Columbia punt in the end zone and Tevita Moimoi pounced on the loose ball for a touchdown with 8:19 left in the third quarter to give the Big Green a 24-9 lead. Ty'son Edwards capped a 15-play, 75-yard Columbia drive and added a two-point conversion run to make it 24-17, and Caden Bell capped a seven-play, 78-yard drive with a 14-yard pass to Luke Painton with 2:24 left in the game to tie the game at 24-24.

Dylan Cadwallader and receiver Paxton Scott each had first-half touchdown passes for Dartmouth and and Columbia rode three Alex Felkins first-half field goals to trail 14-9 at intermission. Cadwallader finished 8 of 15 for 116 yards for Dartmouth (2-4, 1-2) and Paxton pulled in six passes for 104 yards. Bell was 16 of 23 for 102 yards to lead Columbia (3-3, 0-3). Ryan Young carried 21 times for 120 yards. Bloch's field goal was the longest of his four successful kicks this season. He has converted all 17 extra point attempts. - Dartmouth/AP College Football
