2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Daniel DeLorenzi, Columbia (Sr., DL - Cedar Grove, N.J.),...DeLorenzi earns All-Ivy League honors for the second consecutive season as he was a First Team selection last year. This year, DeLorenzi ranked No. 4 in the league in sacks (5.5), No. 15 in tackles for loss (7.5) and finished with 26 tackles (12 solo), a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. Earlier this year against Central Connecticut State, he set Columbia's career sacks and most sacks from yardage records. DeLorenzi, who has led the Lions in sacks in each of the last four seasons, concludes his career with 22.0 sacks, 27.0 tackles for loss and 95 tackles (48 solo) in 37 games played. He goes down as Columbia's all-time greatest pass-rusher as he is the school's record-holder for career sacks (22.0), most season sacks (10.0 in 2018), and most career yards from sacks (132). Ty Lenhart accounted for a personal best three touchdowns and Columbia smothered Pennsylvania in a 44-6 win on Saturday. Lenhart was 14-of-20 passing for 158 yards and a touchdown and led Columbia (2-3, 1-1 Ivy League) on the ground with 95 yards rushing on 11 carries and two scores. The Lions controlled the line of scrimmage with 255 yards rushing on 54 carries (4.7-yards per carry). Columbia outgained the Quakers (2-3, 0-2) 413-232 in total yardage, made 24 first downs and held the ball for close to 36 minutes. The Quakers didn't help their cause as they were penalized 10 times for 105 yards. Columbia took the opening drive and scored in five plays in just over a two-minute span when Lenhart ran it from a yard out. The Lions went on to a 44-0 lead. The Quakers avoided the shutout when Connor O'Brien returned Van Neils' fumble 50 yards for a touchdown with 5:48 remaining. - AP College Football

Ryan Young ran for 98 yards and a touchdown to help Columbia roll past St. Francis (PA) 31-14 on Saturday. Ty Lenhart threw for 101 yards and also ran for a score for the Lions (1-0) in their season opener. Columbia trailed 7-0 early when Young broke for a 65-yard touchdown run on first down to even it up with 11:08 left in the first quarter. St. Francis answered with another touchdown on a 74-yard pass from Jason Brown but Lenhart's touchdown run tied it up again with 1:32 left in the quarter.

The Lions took the lead for good midway through the second quarter on a 1-yard TD run by Mike Roussos, taking a 21-14 advantage into halftime. Freshman Alex Felkins kicked a 50-yard field goal late in the third quarter and Roussos capped the scoring late in the fourth with a 56-yard punt return for a touchdown with 6:03 remaining.
