Cal U mourns the loss and extends its condolences to his family and friends. "Jamain was such a wonderful student with a smile on his face every time you saw him," said Athletic Director Dr. Karen Hjerpe. "His personality was contagious and he made such a positive impact on everyone he met." He posted a season-high 119 rushing yards and one touchdown on 24 carries, including 81 yards in the second half. With Cal U trailing late in the third quarter, Brown caught a screen pass on 2nd-and-16 and raced 74 yards for a touchdown – the longest reception of his career. He matched his career high of four touchdowns passes for the third time this season and finished with 295 passing yards on 20-of-35 attempts despite not playing in the fourth quarter. Mitchell also registered his first rushing touchdown of the season late in the third quarter on Saturday.
