Michigan has added a transfer and lost a player to the NCAA transfer portal. Linebacker Ernest Hausmann, coming off a standout freshman season at Nebraska, transferred to the Wolverines on Thursday, while quarterback Alan Bowman, who arrived at Michigan in 2021 and had been a starter at Texas Tech, is moving on. Hausmann, a three-star recruit, played in every game for the Cornhuskers, including seven starts. He had 54 tackles, including two for loss and a sack, and a fumble recovery. He is the second transfer Michigan has added this month.
