  Penn State jumped up eight places in this week's USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll thanks to their big win over Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Nittany Lions outscored Auburn, 27-6, in the second half to secure the 41-12 victory. Penn State now sits No. 15 in the poll. Meanwhile, Washington enters the poll for the first time after defeating Michigan State. The Huskies debut at #24. Georgia moves up to No. 1 this week switching spots with Alabama, while the rest of the top 5 stays the same. - American Football Coaches Association
