  SEPT 2/WEEK 1 BIG SOUTH OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Alabama running back Terence Humphrey rushed 12 times for a career-high 102 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 26-17 win over Western Illinois. He helped secure UNA's victory with a career-long 62-yard touchdown run with 2:30 left in the third quarter to push North Alabama's lead from two points to nine. Humphrey had two additional first down runs during the evening and finished with an average 8.5 yards per carry. Also nominated for Offensive Player of the Week: Caleb Snead (Campbell), Shai McKenzie (Hampton) and Daniel David (Kennesaw State). - Big South Football
