  Draft Scout by Conference

Wisconsin offensive line coach Bob Bostad has lost one of the more versatile members of his unit. A UW official confirmed that Cormac Sampson, who has played center, guard and tight end, has left the program to focus on his master's degree in educational administration. Sampson, who would have been a fifth-year senior this season, has degrees in political science and philosophy. The graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School worked at center on the No. 1 line in the spring with projected starter Joe Tippmann recovering from an unspecified injury. Sampson likely would have opened preseason camp as a reserve center or guard. He filled in at center for Tippmann in the Las Vegas Bowl and started six games and played in 33 for UW. - Journal Sentinel
