Former Tennessee linebacker Henry To'o To'o announced Saturday he is transferring to Alabama. "I thank you for everything Heavenly Father," To'o To'o wrote on Instagram. "ROLL TIDE" One of the top linebacker prospects in the 2019 class, To'o To'o played two seasons at Tennessee. He entered the transfer portal in January. To'o To'o has the potential to play immediately at Alabama after the NCAA approved a one-time transfer waiver last month. However, the SEC still must change its intraconference transfer rule to allow To'o To'o to play this season.Several other major conferences have eliminated their rules prohibiting players from participating immediately after transferring within the conference. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said this week the conference is expected to make a decision by the "end of May, early June" on its rule. To'o To'o, an all-freshman SEC selection in 2019 who played at De La Salle High School in California, becomes a potential starter in Alabama's defense alongside fellow junior Christian Harris in a spot occupied last season by Dylan Moses. Coach Nick Saban said this spring that senior Jaylen Moody had "taken advantage" of his chance to start, but now it appears Moody and To'o To'o will be competing for the same job. - Birmingham News
