Rutgers still has a need for more speed. The Scarlet Knights followed up Saturday's road upset of Purdue by picking up a Sunday commitment from Kansas State transfer Joshua Youngblood, who was an All-America kick return specialist and Big 12 special teams player of the year last season. Youngblood (5-foot-10, 180 pounds) has three seasons of eligibility remaining, plus a redshirt year. He will presumably be a member of Rutgers' 2021 recruiting class. Here's what you need to know about the Scarlet Knights' newest pickup: Youngblood can fly. The speedster returned three kickoffs for touchdowns as a true freshman in 2019. Youngblood averaged just under 36 yards per return. - Star Ledger
