  10/23/20 - TE Luke FordrSr/2023, Illinois

Mirage or momentum? Lovie Smith's Illini went 6-6 in the regular season in 2019 and made their first bowl game in five years. There was a big upset of Wisconsin, a stirring comeback at Michigan State and a general good vibe around the program that hasn't existed in a long time. QB Brandon Peters (18 TD passes in 2019) is a returning starter, but Illinois lost some production on the ground. Keep an eye out for Georgia TE transfer Luke Ford, who at 6-foot-6 should be easy for Peters and everyone to find. - Ann Arbor News
