  09/24/20 - WR Kobay WhiterSr/2023, Maine

Boston College wide receiver Kobay White underwent anterior cruciate ligament surgery on his knee Tuesday morning and will be out for the remainder of the season. The 5-11, 195-pound, graduate student from Harrisburg, Pa., developed knee problems in training camp and was unable to participate in last Saturday's 26-6 victory at Duke. "Kobay had surgery on his ACL yesterday (Tuesday) so he will be out for the year," said BC head coach Jeff Hafley. "I didn't want to say anything, I wanted him to have his surgery and clear his head and not have to read about it all over the media. "So, out of respect for him I wanted to make sure everything went OK and everything did go OK and he's on to recovery. We'll miss him. He's not only a great player but a great leader and he'll be back." White played in 12 regular season games with 11 starts in 2019 and led the team with 27 receptions. - Boston Herald
