Few Beavers have a clearer path to a starting role than Jermar Jefferson. The junior running back is a two-year starter, who when healthy, is one of the Pac-12?s top offensive threats for 2020. During the 2018 season, Jefferson ran for a freshman school-record 1,380 yards. Last year Jefferson battled injuries, but still had moments on the way to a 685-yard season. With Artavis Pierce gone to the Chicago Bears training camp, Jefferson becomes the centerpiece to OSU's offense. Jefferson is a proven runner who only needs to improve his blocking and pass receiving skills to become one of the country's top running backs. - The Oregonian
