NOV 7 MISSOURI VALLEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: DB Korby Sander, UNI - Despite coming up on the losing end, Korby Sander notched a career-high 14 tackles in UNI's 31-28 home loss to No. 1 South Dakota State. Recording four solo tackles, Sander played a key role in slowing the Jackrabbit offense, which had scored 49 points in its previous two games. Thanks to critical defense by Sander on SDSU's opening drive, the Panthers were able to hold the Jackrabbits to a field goal after driving inside the UNI 1 0-yard line. - Missouri Valley Football
