10/05 WEEK 5 SEC CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tennessee's Jackson Ross, a fifth-year punter from Melbourne, Australia, was a special teams and field position weapon in the Volunteers' 24-14 win over Auburn. He punted six times for 265 yards, aver aging 44.2 yards per punt with a long of 51. The real key was his placement. Five of his six punts were downed inside the Auburn 11-yard line, including three inside the 5-yard line. Auburn's average starting field position in the fourth quarter was its own 12-yard line, and the Tigers did not return a punt the entire game. Ross' five punts inside the 20-yard line matched his career best, set on Nov. 16, 2024, at Georgia. Since the start of the 2025 season, Ross leads the nation in percentage of punts d owned inside the 10-yard line at 21.7 percent (13). - SEC Football
