10/05 WEEK 5 SEC CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tennessee's Jackson Ross, a fifth-year punter from Melbourne, Australia, was a special teams and field position weapon in the Volunteers' 24-14 win over Auburn. He punted six times for 265 yards, averaging 44.2 yards per punt with a long of 51. The real key was his placement. Five of his six punts were downed inside the Auburn 11-yard line, including three inside the 5-yard line. Auburn's average starting field position in the fourth quarter was its own 12-yard line, and the Tigers did not return a punt the entire game. Ross' five punts inside the 20-yard line matched his career best, set on Nov. 16, 2024, at Georgia. Since the start of the 2025 season, Ross leads the nation in percentage of punts downed inside the 10-yard line at 21.7 percent (13). - SEC Football
