09/07 WEEK 1 UAC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Abilene Christian's Alex Broome took home the Specialist of the Week honor after he returned a 98-yard kickoff against FBS 12th-ranked Texas Tech. The return, which came late in the fourth quarter, was t he only touchdown scored by the Wildcats on Saturday and was the first kickoff-return touchdown since 2019 and the longest run for ACU since the 2009 season.
